Silly little Faith

Well Faith and I have had a wonderful week of staying home and enjoying the last of the summer weather. Faith has been sleeping a lot lately during the day & so I am thinking a growth spurt is about to hit. Other than chasing her around the house, I have been trying out my hand at ruining our flower beds in the back yard!

I decided yesterday to try and "help" Adam with the yardwork. In case you didn't know, I never touch the yard...no planting, no nothing. I thought it couldn't be that hard & so I "trimmed" some of the "dead"...or what I thought was dead stuff in the flower bed. I guess you can't trim plants all the way down & expect them to live. The look on poor Adam's face when I showed him the yard. He knew my heart was in the right place, but he said that it would be like if I had come home & he had tried to do the white laundry & accidently put a red shirt in the load. I was pretty sad about the whole thing, but Adam was very understanding. I guess no more surprises of doing yard work for me!

So, beyond that, I haven't had anything too much else going on. I am still walking in the mornings with my friend & love that. It is a great start to each day. This morning we saw 5 deer before we went walking. It is hunting season & so I am sure they were just trying to find a nice place to stay safe. Faith & I enjoyed taking a minute to watch & enjoy nature from our car port!

Thats all folks!
