Happy Healthy Faith
We are back from our fourth trip to Seattle. We took Faith over for some more testing on Wednesday. It turns out that Faith's tumor in her arm is extremely rare & it usually shows up in other places of the body. The doctor's wanted to check her out to make sure there were no other tumors in her body, so we were there last Friday for testing and again this past Wednesday for other tests. Faith did really well and the preliminary readings of the tests show that there are no other tumors. We are so thrilled to hear that she only had the one tumor in her arm & that it was benign. My eyes have been opened to the world of childhood cancer & what it can do to families.
We have now stayed at the Ronald McDonald house three times & each time I feel so blessed that Faith is as healthy as she is. I visited with two separate families over the past week whose children were recently diagnosed with Leukemia. I have been thinking of them often and feeling so lucky as we get to leave the Ronald McDonald house with a happy healthy baby. I truly wish there was something I could do to help the other families that have to stay for months at a time. I pray to someday give back to help those families going through the heartache of having children being treated for cancer. Children are so amazing & I feel like I can learn from the strength they show when faced with hard times.
Anyways, I just am happy to be home enjoying being a mom to my beautiful girl...my little angel.

Merry Christmas to you all!
Love,
